Q & A / Barking???

Last night i went to bed and my chin started making a barking/ chirping noise. I went to check on him and everything seemed fine but he kept doing it. I went to pick him up and he just sat there, which he never does and he just sat quietly on my lap. Should i be worried?

There is so much controversy about what kind of woods to use and not use that I don't know what is safe. Right now i have shaved pine bedding should I be using something else? Also i want to build shelves and huts for Barnaby but I want to use the safest wood possible. Please can someone clear everything up?

I just got a chinchilla and me and my family love making him toys. We live around a huge aspen grove and I found a nice hollow log. I wanted to know if it would be safe for my chinchilla to chew on.
