I was just wondering how long you all have been chinnie owners.  I've had mine for 1 1/2 years, so, i'm a pretty new owner.

I recently got a new cage for my chin, and was wondering if this type of environmntal change can make a chinchilla bite their fur.  He hasn't bitten before, but I don't know if it's in his genes.

The other day at the pet store, I saw "Chinchilla Cookie Treats"  Basically, it is a hard cookie shaped disc made of different things.  I was wondering if these kinds of treats were good for chinchillas.

Does anybody own a degu?  I know that they are similar to chinchillas and have seen them caged with chinnies.

  Hi hi!!  Does anyone on here do ballet?  I love it!!  I just started pointe.  I also do classical and lyrical.  If you don't do ballet, do you do any other styles of dance?  I also do tap, jazz, and hip-hop, but ballet is my favorite!!    Sometimes, when my chinnie stands on his hind legs, it looks like he is trying to bourree!!  It's so cute!
