Title: My New Chin BV/vc/ebc
Post by: QTPie61282 on July 07, 2007, 09:03:28 AM
I just got my new chin from CPP in CA and I wanted to share pics of her.  Her name is Freeshia (like the color).
She was born in Feb.
I also noticed in the pics, her Left ear.  Let me know if you notice it too.  There is Violet coloring in the form of a stripe on her ear.  I though this was really cool and have never seen it before.
Have any of you seen anything like this before??

She is a Black Velvet (vc/ebc) So I thought it was probably due to the violet gene?  But I still have never seen anything like it before.

Hi Jen,
It looks like a mark from a surgical pen. David and I use them occasionally to mark a kit when two in a litter are so identical that we do not want to mix them up. We usually just put a dot though. The mark will fade over time if it is from a pen. You can also call the breeder that you got her from and ask if they marked her ear.
 She is a beauty, Congrats
