Title: building my own cage
Post by: LeviStout12 on April 15, 2014, 11:29:21 AM
Hi guys, I like to build things and i decided to build my baby chinch, grace her own cage. I was wondering if i could get some tips on what would be ideal for her to keep her happy. What type of wood, how big, etc. I live in an apartment so nothing too extravagant. Pictures of your hand made cages would be awesome too. Thanks :)

The cage forum is a good place to start. You'll find my cage there too, although it's a heavily modified parrot cage and it's not your typical cage setup and somewhat experimental. It is what I consider the ideal size for my chinchilla although the dome shaped part at the top is space not utilized.
