Health / Ear tags gone wrong
« on: June 09, 2007, 12:27:05 PM »
Amy and I attend the ecbc Cali state show last year. We had to tag our chins in order for them to to be shown. (We had a huge rancher tag them to) :-[One of the tags was not really placed very well and has always looked odd. Today Milkshakes Had some blood on her coat, and an open cut for lack of a better word. If at all possible is their a way of removing ear tags(I wouldn't myself). I can tell the ear tag is whats causing the problem.

I have also removed her mate. What should I use to disinfect? Thanks for your help.

General Chat / Small Pet Eco-Bedding
« on: January 04, 2007, 02:06:59 AM »
We have used Care Fresh Ultra for about 2 years now. After trying the Eco-Bedding. We will never use anything else. It is made from 100%-recycled paper that is cut and folded into accordion-like short strips (looks pretty cool). Eco-Bedding is completely safe for chins to eat. It works just ask well if not better then the care fresh breeding when it comes to absorbency. We paid $25.00 for the big bag of care fresh. We paid 17.00 for the Eco-bedding, and got twice as much of a better product.

Breeding 101 / Ear Tags
« on: December 21, 2006, 12:56:02 AM »
I going to order some ear tags online. I guess we need them for the state show. I'm not sure which ones to order though. I just need to know which one to get. Their are the 1005-3 or the 1005-1. I would like the smallest one I could get but I'm not sure what the rules are on tht kinda stuff.
