I need help figuring out what color my new kit is his mom is a medium ebony and his dad is a homo beige, he isn't either of those colors so i'm leaning more towards a violet or sapphire can someone send me a picture of one of these to compare? i'm going to take pictures tonite and post them in my gallery.

thanks so much for the advice i did have romainia separated but onyx got real sad so i had to put them back in together and she is pretty close to delivery time i'll try keeping the cages side by side and see how that works thanks

How safe is it to leave the female and the male in together when she is due? I know i've seen pictures of mommy and daddy chins taking care of the kit but was wondering if there are things i should know before i decide to do that .

i did get the eyes open about three hours after birth and there were no eyes in the sockets i even checked with a flashlight just to make sure i wasn't seeing things but like i said his sister was fine and healthly i'm going to definately keep an eye on her future litters and the fathers as well thanks so much for the advice i'm still learning since i'm still pretty new at breeding and i take everyones advice seriously thanks guys!

i definatiely think it was seizures but her calcium was good i checked her teeth plus i give calf manna twice a week she ended up delivering fine just one baby had no eyes when it was born and later died but the first one is healthy and beautiful maybe i shouldn't breed her again i don't know what do you think?

do you know where i could find the glass eye droppers? i've checked wal mart and didn't see any but i could have overlooked them? i'm not sure

he felt around their jaws and looked in their mouths but didn't take x-rays i called a vet that is about 30 miles away and made an appointment they don't deal with chins there either but i told him the story and explained how desparate i was

i sold one of my female chins to a very nice lady that lives a little bit away from us well she called about two weeks after she bought her and said she died because her dog got her my question is do you think its wrong for me to turn her away when she wants to buy another one i just don't feel comfortable about the situation

well i just had another litter only one this time i had two the first but the little boy died he wouldn't eat and his eyes wouldnt open when we finally got them open there were no eyes in them so im not sure what happend i did try to feed him with a nursing bottle made for kittens but he wouldn't take it is there a better way of doing it?
