Hello everyone, I am a new member who live in Hong Kong, I have 3 chinchillas.
This is my first post and you can find the photos of my 3 chins: http://www.chinchillaclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=725.0
I found very interesting here as your culture is different to us.
For example I have never imagined that people can have 100 chins at home !!!!!
It is so surprise to me.
If you are interested in our culture, I can tell you more about it ;)
One thing is, I am worrying about the language problem.
As my English is not very good, so please forgive me if I say somehing wrong.
No matter what, Nice to meet all of you here!

I'm sure your English is far better than most (if not all!) of our Cantonese. :) Welcome! I look forward to learning more about your chinchillas.

Welcome!

Please don't ever worry that you are going to make mistakes here, you will do fine. We are a very kind and relaxed group of people. We are your friends. Just be yourself and have fun!

::silly::I went to your website ... I could not understand the language, but the site and the pictures are done beautifully! Please post the picture at the bottom of the page on: http://hk.geocities.com/chung_bb/cage.htm , it is a precious picture!
Your chinchilla videos are great. Do you use a dust bath dust or a sand for your chinchilla's baths?
The memorial and poem for your precious Chung Chung BB is beautiful. I, too, had a Pomeranian, Little Bit, that passed away, but we still have her son, Buster.
I hope you will translate more of your website into English so we can enjoy the information, also. ::nod::

They use dust bath dust.
Here is the photo, I took out gum gum and put him into a little cage in order to clean his own cage. Then he bit the cage and want to go out and I took the photos.
He looks so poor and funny , just like a prisoner, hahahahaha ~~~

::silly::The third picture on: http://hk.geocities.com/chung_bb/eatinggrass.htm Looks like the little chin just got caught doing something he should not have done. "Who? Me? I didn't do it."
You catch the expressions of the chinchillas beautifully.

Cute pics, nice camera ;)
What color is Gum Gum?
They look like they get handled loads, and how nice their fur looks after a bath.
So how long have you had chins Toby?
-
gum gum is apricot in colour.
gum gum is my first chins and I took him home 2 years ago.
-
Cool, so I guess in our terms folks Gum Gum is a bright hetero beige???
Different.
Nice blocky chins with nice big wide fore heads. ::thumbsup::
-
Yes I would say Gum Gum's a hetero beige, a pretty one too :)
