I finally got my Ocicats although they don't get along with my Bengal cat yet so it sounds as though i have three tigers growling in my living room :::grins:: The lady i got them off of can't show them anymore because of back surgery so she gave them to me! She gave me the receipts and everything she paid 845 dollars a piece for these kitties i felt so bad for her but i assured her they would be taken care of....i'll have to post pictures they are very neat looking. But hopefully everyone starts getting along soon. :)

They are very pretty!! :::grins::

They don't look that much different from a regular house cat. Are they bigger than a house cat?
-
There really cute!
-
They are gorgeous! Lucky you!!! How old are they?
-
They look like my bengal Tyg. Good luck with them. They are lucky to find a great home with you. Shannon

They are about 3 years old, you have to see them in person the pictures are kinda blurry they are spotted like a leopard and do actually look alot different than a regular house cat. I also have a bengal :)
-
Before I got Tyg I had a lady call me and ask me if her kids were going to be safe with this BIG cat around ::tickedoff::. I told her he was the size of a house cat and she said OK and hung up ???. It was later that I found out that one of the kids I was watching was over at her house and told her that I was getting a bengal and she went from there :doh:. She had kids the were bad enough to get eaten :blush2:.
Are they male and female?
-
Never mind the male and female question, I reread your post. :doh: Are you going to breed them? Shannon
-
no they are fixed star had a one litter before i got her and all the kittens had flat chested kitten syndrom and one had to be put to sleep so the lady fixed her right after and blu was last years show champion in Lancaster Pa she had him fixed also probably because she wasn't charging me for them. Although i am considering buying one or two for breeding purposes i think they are beautiful

I can sort of see the spots on the second one's coat...It was great that you could adopt them...and you can't complain about that FREE fee either...hope they bring you tons of joy.

::silly:: You are right, the pictures you have posted do not do them justice. They are absolutely gorgeous! I Googled Ocicats and got to this site: http://www.cfainc.org/breeds/profiles/ocicat.html There are some good pictures on that site. The second picture is, to me, the prettiest one on that site. It says the first one born was in 1964, quite by accident, so the species is only 35 years old. I'm posting that picture, there are others on that site.
You are very lucky to own such creatures!
