I've about had it with Super Pet water bottles. I recently purchased one of their glass chew proof bottles, and I can't get it to dispense water at all. This is the second time I've seen this with their bottles--the other being a friend who bought one who got the same results. I was previously happy with them, I have one that I've been using for quite some time that still works perfectly. I'm caring for a friend's chinnie who needs a new bottle, and now I'm at a loss as to what kind to buy.
Does any one have any favorite types of chinnie water bottles? I would prefer glass, or one that comes with a chew guard, since this lil guy is a chew monster.

i just put up some new ones, they work great, they do not leak at all, but they are plastic. i'm trying to get ahold of lixit to see if they have guards for them, but they won't call back.. no surprise there, anyways, i'm out of the glass ones, but they do work good, if your local pet store sells them.

I used to have a problem with Super Pet also...and that being the ball bearing would get screwed up and I would have puddles of water in their cage after the water would entirely leak out of the bottle. That was highly annoying since my fuzz butts detest getting their feet or anything else wet. I agree with Jean as Lixits have been great. No leak problems and no problems with chewing either. ::silly:: ::nod:: I purchesed mine from Jean's awesome store!..Check it out!

Thanks, Jmdebb and Blondy. I'll see if I can track down a Lixit bottle :)

I use the Living World glass bottle. It comes in a couple different sizes. It leaks a little when I clean/ refill the bottle, but nothing major! I buy a lot of their products, including chews, chin food, and even cage. I don't buy anything not Living World brand if I can avoid it, save for maybe Timothy Hay. Good luck!
