I got the call from my dr. today. They finally scheduled the date of my c-section. It will be April 12th @ 8am. I am so excited, and now can't wait for the date to come!
So keep us in your thoughts that day, and I will post pictures as soon as I can :)

Jacqui,
That is Great!
I had two C-Sections and that is the way to go!
No wondering when the baby is going to come....just go to the hospital and when they get you into surgery, you have a baby within 15 minutes.
We look forward to seeing Noah when he gets here!

;) Wonderful news! That is so exciting I'll never forget the days right before my girls were born. We were so excited to have them and were nesting like crazy to prepare.
There is something to be said about sections too, you know exactly when baby is to come. Mine were not sections and one came on her due date (pure luck), the other a couple of weeks early (a huge surprise).
We will be thinking of you! Can't wait to see pics of little Noah. Isn't it fun knowing the baby's gender prior to the big day!

Oh Jacqui,
How cool is that?
Isn't it fun knowing the baby's gender prior to the big day!
I think it's the only way to go, and to have an appointment to give birth is awesome.
I know some folks like the surprises but for those who like to be prepared it's great that they are telling you the sex.
They wouldn't tell me when I was having kids, but mostly it was because of misstakes being made.Ultra sounds have gotten so much more precise. It's great.
My nerves were shot waiting for Colby, Nanny's little man. ::kiss99::
Now you know we'll be sitting here waiting. ::nod::
Can't wait to see his little face.

Thanks everyone! :D I am getting so excited now that April is finally here! I have 9 days to go.
Still counting down. It's finally at single digits!
-
I thought of you last night.
My sisters birthday, and it came to me you only have 10 days left. Well 9 now.
How cool.
At least you have a date to wait for, waiting for them to make the date ::shrug:: Well it's all a waiting game either way. ;D
Hard on the nerves after 9 months of waiting.
Are the other kids excited???? ;)
-
Yep the other kids are excited, as is the whole family :D
Tommorrow is the big day. I got my bag packed and think I remembered everything. Somehow though when Im at the hospital there will be something that I remember I wanted to bring LOL.
I won't be on anymore until after I get back. I will talk to you all then! Thanks for all the well wishes and thinking about us :)

What a little sweetie.
Well now that's over & the fun begins. ::nod::
So are you nursing or bottle feeding?
How did the op go?
How are you feeling?
That must be hard. I have had many ops and can't imagine having to care for a new born after.
You have loads of help I hope.
I'm so excited for you all.
-
Debbie, I am nursing him which is going wonderful and then theres times I wish that my husband could just take him for a little (ie. 3am! lol) But I stay at home with the kids so I figured why spend all that money on formula when I dont have to!
The operation went well, and recovery is going well. Ive had a couple sections prior, so I knew what to expect.
He is changing so much already, its unbelievable. Now he's screaming, so I better run ;)
Thanks for all your support everyone. I will post some new pictures soon.
-
I am glad to hear that everything is going well.
I nursed... and nursing a baby is remarkable. You realize that you and only you are keeping a little human alive. To think about it is a true miracle. ::nod:: I can totally understand about the 3 a.m. feedings, but that is your "quiet time" with Noah. Just you and him, everyone else is asleep. I wouldn't give anything for the memories of my night time feedings (which was 13 and 5 years ago).
Babies grow up so fast.....treasure every moment!

I'm sorry I was late seeing this. Congratulations!!!! He is beautiful. Those repeat c-sections are great. I remember it took me a solid month to move around easily after my first, but after the second I was vacuuming the floor one week later. :::grins::
I can't wait to see more pictures.

Time for new pics ;)
How he's doing Jacqui, how are you?
