« on: August 09, 2010, 11:56:06 AM »
After a serious consideration, I quit my present job which has a stable income and hope to find a career that I  can devoted the rest of my life in.
I have quite a good starting that the most famous exotic animal hospital in our city call me to interview for the position as a Veterinarian assistant.
After 2 rounds of interviews with a nurse trainer and a VET, I have a chance to work with the nurse trainer on the coming Wednesday for a trial day as well as regarded as the last round of selection.

It is the first time I am so eager to succcess.... Hope the luck will follow me.....

Health / Question about Oat meal
« on: July 12, 2010, 04:51:26 PM »
I saw quite a lot of breeders in here saying that oat meal is good for chins especially for growing kits.

In my country, there is not much information about what is exactly an "oat meal".
May I know what is the oat meal you guys is saying in specific?

Health / Question about Calcium and Vitamin C
« on: July 12, 2010, 04:44:57 PM »
All we know the chins teeth should be orange in color, but sometimes you may discover that the teeth is turning to light yellow or even white, it is the sign of calcium deficiency. The question is, what is the best way to against calcium deficiency? Normally, how you guys to recover your chin from calcium deficiency? Why I ask about this is because I read some cases of our local chins are dead because of "muscle calcification", so I would like to know the safest way to provide calcium for chins.

On the other hand, there are more and more articles point out vit-c is good for the chin's teeth gum, anyone can share some opinions on this topic??

thanks in advance!!

General Breeder Chat / Question about homo beige
« on: June 11, 2010, 04:43:29 PM »
I saw a beige color baby from my friend which the color is really light, and the sire is a hetero pink white and the dam is a hetero beige.
According to the color mutation, there should be 25% chance of hetero beige and 12.5% chance of homo beige.
And I have found an article saying that for a homo beige, the eyes should have a ring around the pupil, while the hetero beige should be very solid color.
I have both homo beige and hetero beige, when I examinate their eyes, I can't sure the difference the article is saying.
Anyone have a better way to examinate between homo and hetero when they are still babies?
