You can now place a pin in the map of the world to show others where you are. Hopefully this will make it even easier if you want to find people in your area. You will find it in the blue menu above.
Unfortunatly, this does not work with FireFox Interenet Browsers. So sorry to those of you who use it.
By the way, I would like to find out what everyone uses to view this site so please place your vote in the poll above.

Sorry, I had the wrong permissions set so you probably got an error if you tried to view the map. Its working now. Also, it should now be compatable with FireFox!!

I get figure out how to get the pin on there! ::shrug::
-
This new map is the coolest thing! Thank you chinclub!
-
I would place a pin, but Jamie and I only live 5 miles from each other! So we will have to share! YAH>>>>for S.C.!!

Go to the map and click "Place Your Pin" Change World to USA on the drop down menu. Type your City or State (whichever you feel more comfortable with) in the first box then Choose USA on the other. Then click the map where you want your pin to go. Then click the Save my pin button.

:blush2: Thanks :blush2:

I placed my pin and the map put me WAY far north for some reason... :(
-
You can move your pin if its not in the wright spot. Be sure to use the USA map and not the world map when you place your pin, otherwise there is no telling where your pin will end up! :D
-
I tried to move it, but it didn't seem to want to let me. What am I doing wrong? ::shrug::
-
I wasn't able to get myself on the map either... don't feel bad. We're probably doing something silly. LOL :blush2:
-
I wouldn't be surprised, Sarah. This forum is so different from mine... I find I'm pretty easily confused. :D
-
If you need to move your pin (or if you are adding it for the first time the directions are prety much the same):
click on the Members Map, then click "Place Your Pin".
A map of the USA should come up, if its the map of the world choose the USA from the drop down menu. You should see your pin on the map. Move it with your cursor to whereever you want it to go and then click "save my pin".
If your pin will not move try hitting Refresh or Reload on your browser.

LOL  I figured out what I was doing wrong... I wasn't clicking the link to place my pin. :blush2:
