Hi! I would like to meet people who own chinchillas in Southeastern Tennessee. I think my chinchilla would like to meet other chins too.

Toto never wants to take his medicine when he is sick
He loves to bother me when I am on the phone because he thinks I should be paying attention to him!
He puts everything in his mouth
Begs for treats
If he is scared he clings to me
He likes to climb on me

What is the best way to groom a chin? Toto has tufts of fur on his back that are kind off matted and i don't know why.  Please respond.
