Where are you located?  That might be helpful.  Also, this is better placed in the Local Chat section.  I'll be happy to move it there once I know the location.  :)

Ah, sorry about that. I wasn't sure where to put it. ._., We're located in San Jose/Bay Area

South West USA / Breeders: Interested in a pair?
« on: April 05, 2010, 12:27:21 PM »
My boyfriend and I have a pair of chinchillas. We've recently had to move and everything in now in one room and one of our dogs don't like them (and the other thinks they're another dog who wants to play). I'm looking for someone whos got some experience with chinchillas. They have to stay together. They are a little over 4 years and they've been together since they were 8 months old. The female is violet and a total sweetheart. The male is beige, he's nice but not as friendly as the female. If you have questions feel free to ask?

Where's the best place to find people to adopt a pair? I dont want them to go to a bad home and I would either want the pair to go to an experienced breeder or to someone who would neuter the boy  since they're bonded and been together for years.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
