Title: ..........Dwarf Chinchilla?

Can a dwarf chinchilla live with a regular one if they are the same sex? I mean how tiny are these guys compared to a regular chin! I've never heard of them.  ::shrug::

You could probably put two young ones together however I wouldn't recommend trying when they are older.  Dwarfs are considerably smaller and could be hurt very badly in the event of a fight.

Alrighty. I so wish I knew there was a such thing as a dwarf. I have a very small house and Chicos cage takes up lots of space but it's still small for him so I take him out a lot. For an hour at a time. However... now he LOVES his pvc pipe, he doesn't pay attention to anything else in the cage. He loves to come to the end of it for scratching too. If he keeps staying in there he'll wind up a dwarf lol.
