mine are so silly I straightened up their cage last night and you know what they did they destroyed it awhhh they are grooming each other that is so cute but the only thing that they can't move is their food dish it is nailed to the shelf and their hut I nailed it too  :::grins:: I did the food dish so they wouldn't nock it over and then I put it under the other shelf that way there wouln'd be alot of poop droppings in it when they jump around their cage :) these two are so silly and cute and naughty

if you are buying your food at a pet store you will want to check the date and also the hay as well both things can cause mushy poop also if you are buying it bulk you will want to freeze it for a day or more to kill any moths they can make them sick too also chin food bought at a pet store has been sitting there a long time they don't eat a ton so if you can imagine how long it take for 1 cin to eat a bag and then guess how many people own a chin and then multiply that by the number of pet store that sell chin food that is a ton of food for a handful of chins most people by the rabbit pellets they don't sit on the shelf as long but slowly mix it with their food they eat now if you do

that is true they are both male and you are right I would have to seperate them and they love each other so much the standard I got from a girl who got him from a pet store not sure which one and if I did breed the pink white which color should I use standard cause I remember you saying anything w/ a standard is safe

as for that lady that was told not to breed go take the chin back I would she is just in it to make money and found out you can't

I am not sure about the hairball thing I hardley ever see him groom himself he is vry clean and I am allergic to cats and he is the only cat I can actually hold and not come away in red watery itchy eyes and sniffles he has also been doing this since he was about 3 yrs old I found him as a little kitten probably still nursing cause I had to feed him with an eye dropper and he has been fine we live over by my mom at the time and in that year just after we signed our lease we had a fire so then they put us in a nother townhouse a couple one down he was fine then we had to move again when our lease was up this time because we had a fire and when we moved it was when he started vomiting is was 1-3 times a week then it kept getting worse and then it was almost everynight and then we moved were we are at now after a year there and we have lived here for 2 yrs do you think that it could be mold spores in the air? cause the place befor this we were on the bottom floor kinda like a basement in an apt. high rise 1/2 the apartment was under ground and over here we have a mold problem too.  I clean our carpets once a month in the summer we own a carpet cleaner (a must have if you have kids) and in the winter I only do it when it is warm enough to open the windows and doors to dry the carpet and I use bleach and water when I clean them to remove any unknown thing on the carpet. plus it sanitizes my house more and the carpets stay cleaner longer. :)
