My puppy Bandit is missing, and he's been gone about maybe a week, not sure. Anyway, what should I do, I miss my baby so much! I think someone probably stole him. I miss him so much and I want to do something, but i'm clueless. What do you think I should do?!?! :'(

:-[ I'm so sorry!!
What kind of area do you live in? Neighborhood? Rural? City? Country? Have you tried contacting any/all of the shelters/pounds/humane societies around you? Was he micro chipped? Tagged? A week is a long time... the only thing I can suggest is to keep checking with any of the shelters around you... good luck!!

I just live outside of the town. No, I haven't tried that, but I can't because i'm only 13. Plus we pretty much all think he was stolen. He gets out a lot and likes to cross the road to play with the other dogs who live there. We know he's still alive, and the day he was gone for hours there was a truck just down the road, we think maybe they just took him, it's very possible. So, thanks anyways, but what are we suppose to do if he was stolen???

Did you try to put up signs? Maybe they thought he was a stray. If they drive that road a lot and see a missing dog sign hopefully they will realize he was loved and return him.

I would definately contact all the shelters/pounds/rescues around you, when my English Bulldog came up missing I was sure that someone stole her...(they are very expensive dogs) but it turns out that a very honest nice woman just took her to the Humane Society and I was able to pick her up there. Put flyers up as well, and alot of newspapers will allow you to place a LOST ad in the paper for free.
Good luck, and I hope you find your doggie soon.

In my opinion, even if you think your puppy was stolen, why not check the shelters anyways? What if someone did take him to a shelter and he's waiting for you there but you never check because you're sure he can't be there? Maybe you can't contact all the shelters because of your age, but can your parents do it for you??

Try the local radio stations too, there pretty good here with missing pets.
An add in the local paper, or if you do believe he was stolen contact your local TV station.
They love stories like that, because folks feel for owners and the animals.
Good luck.

Thanks all of you, I'll tell my mom to call any shelters that are around. I'm just beggining to have my doubts, what if someone did steal him and they plan to keep him?? Anywayz, thanks, and if we find him, I'll let all of you know.

But what if they DIDN'T steal him. Hey I'm 15 and have done many things! Try doing what the others said.
