I would love to meet people on here from or near Georgia who have chinchillas. It is so nice to have friends nearby.
From what I have read so far and from some of the replies I have gotten to my posts on here the people here are tremendously helpful and friendly.

General Chat / Chinchilla Playtime

My husband let both of my chinchillas out to play while I was out earlier today and he told me that my female Gypsy chased my male Chin around. I know that there is a 2 week isolation time period but I guess my husband didn't listen when I told him that. Well anyways can anyone tell me why she was chasing him? It was not in a violent way from what he described and neither of them were trying to hurt each other. But he got them back inb their seperate cages until after he could figure out why she was doing this.
Any help would be great.
And also please don't hate me for my husbands play time mistake of letting them play together before the 2 weeks was up.

My name is Heather and I just got my first chinchilla today. I am new to owning a chinchilla and I look forward to making new friends here and learning things along the way. I currently have 2 sugar gliders and love them bunches and have always wanted to bring a chinchilla into my home as a member of our family.
So now I have 1 and she is tremendously healthy and happy.
Her name is Gypsy and she is just under a year old.
