I have a lot of animals also.....6 dogs, 9 chinchillas, and 1 conure.  My smallest dog Missy is very funny when it comes to getting snacks.  She will pounce on my large dogs (Dalmatians).  It doesn't matter to her that they weigh 60 pounds more than she does.  She will growl and jump until they leave their snack so she can get it! :D  Animals can be so funny!

 :::grins:: We have 2 jack russells, 5 cats, 2 hamsters and of course the 27 chinchillas!  Funny how bright animals are, people don't give them enough credit!  The week before Mia was due to have her kits each of our cats took turns manning Mia's  cage!  They would just sit on the couch or floor right beside the cage for hours at a time "just in case"!  If one cat left another would come on duty!  Funny thing is they all took turns with this job until Mia delivered (and they were ALL there with us for the event too) then when the kits were about 2 days old and all was well, the cats left their posts!  ;D

I have 5 chins of my own and I am watching my friends herd right now. It's so funny seeing all of their different personalities. I love having babies around too. They are all sweethearts, even Laurie and Pepper. Laurie is a sprayer/biter and Pepper is a biter.  Laurie is a HUGE girl she is over 1000 grams and was a Grand Show Champion in her prime. :)
I also own 3 sugar gliders. Gliders are awesome pets, they do amazing things. I love how much they love to be with you all the time.
I also have a bunny. She's cute I love that wiggly nose.
I have 4 cats at my house right now. 1 is my kitty and they others are from a family of 5 kitties I found. I have rehomed 2 of the kittens and mama is going to her new home this weekend. I am keeping 1 kitten, and that just leave me with 1 more to find a good home for.
I have a total zoo!

::silly:: MissKitz,

    If you have one of the photo programs I have I can help you.  What photo program do you use?

    Adobe 2.0 is the easiest to resize, if you have it.

    You have to get the photo down to 128K or smaller to be able to post it.

That was my new cat, it's so sad, we got him at the pet store and when he was a baby,(he was born in a dumpster,) someone stepped on his tail so now his tail is bent in two different ways, it's so sad.my other cat ways 30 pounds!!!! it's hard to pick him up! his belly almost drags on the ground! he's so big!!,and hes grumpy all of the time you'll pet him for like two seconds and he meows.

Oh goodness, we have 28 (at the moment) chins, 4 cats and 2 conures that share our home. My Nanday is currently sitting in her rope ring toy facing the wall talking to herself  ::shrug:: She says Step Up, No, Kiss, Hello as well as Wolf Whistles and gives kisses. All of which she's currently muttering to herself.

::silly::We have about 185 chins, a Great Dane and a Pomeranian.   Nothing is ever dull around here!
      We use to have two cats, Lucky & Snuggs.  Lucky came from the SPCA less than an hour before they were going to put him down.  He had been found half frozen in the snow and had pneumonia (this was years before I had any chins). He always knew when Bill had a migraine and would lick Bill all around his eyes and nose ... once Bill woke up with only raw skin over his whole nose, but his migraine was gone.   ::)
      Snuggs came from a family looking for homes for the whole litter.  He was constantly running into the street, so we took him home, as he would be an inside kit here.  He learned to talk a little and would freak people out ... he would say "Momma" ... "momma, out" ... "Momma, out ... now!"  My mother-in-law, asleep in the recliner, almost lost it when she uncovered her head to see who it was calling her momma, and there set Snuggs ... talking to her.   rofl

I have 2 dogs, Waylon a doberman and Sugah a poozu, 2 cats Rose and Pepper, 1 chinchilla Bowie, and a 55 gal fish tank.

LOL Saturday it was so funny, the noon siren went off and my little poozu was just howling away with it.  Bowie is a weirdo, I'll come up to his cage and try to visit with him and he runs off.  The minute I pull my hand out he runs to the door and sits there and won't let me shut the door until I love on him.  Why did he run off in the first place?  ::shrug::

Wow I was reading my first post on page 1 and my household has changed quite a bit since then. I actually have run into a bit of financial difficulty and decided to move home to my grandma's for a little while to get back on track. My chinnies are staying with my friends whose herd I watched for her until I go back to my own place. I sure do miss my little fuzzbutts.  :'(
I now have 2 cages of gliders. 2 boys in one and 2 girls with 2 joeys in the other. They are fun.
I have my bunny with me at the house.
1 of my kitties found a new home.  ::cry222::: The other kitty is staying with another friend until I can get my own place again or convince my grandma that we need another gray cat (she has 3 gray kitties at home).
It's been a crazy time lately, but things are starting to calm down. I posted in another topic about the joeys my suggie Laila surprised me with. I plan to be back on my feet within 6 months... I hope. :) Until then I have to visit my own chins and live vicariously through all your chinnie stories.

::silly::Hi Chinchillagrl06 ...
    I know you will miss your chinnies, but maybe the time will pass fairly quickly ... holidays coming and all ... I would be crying without end if I had to leave all my chinnies.

I miss them so much, but I am just glad that I have good friends who are willing to take them in until I can get things back together. I had previously talked to her about taking them in if anything ever happened. It's good to have a plan. At least I will be able to take them back and I don't have to worry about them being well taken care of.  :::grins::
