Weird chinny
« on: July 10, 2007, 11:03:03 AM »

I was sitting here at my computer yesterday, and I had one of my new adoptions on the desk with me, while i was writing an email.  All of a sudden I looked over and "spice" who is a hetero beige starting picking things up with her paws, or how i saw it hands??!!.....I have always seen chins use their mouth and then transfer to their hands to hold. It was bizarre!  she just starting picking up random things such as pencils and actually moving them around with her paws.  I later put her back into her cage and fed her and saw that she does the same things with her food. She somehow picks it up out of the bowl, examines it, and then eats it.  It was the closest to human behavior I have gotten with a chin.  I was really shocked. rofl

My chin does that too. He rummages around in his food bowl looking for the best pellet...examines it to make sure it looks good, then tastes it. If it doesn't look good or taste good, he throws it away and grabs a different one.  ;D He's quite a picky eater!
