Feeding my Virtual Pet

Can anyone explain to me how to transfer pet food to my virtual pet?  I purchase food and it asks me who I want to transfer it too....How do I pick my animal?  When I hit the transfer button it tells me that my pet would die!

My pet kitty, Penelope, still has "5" on the food level but I don't want my cat to die.

There is a bug in the system.  I am going to work on it a little this morning and see if I can fix the problem.  Otherwise I will have to uninstall the virtual pets here on the forum.  But we still have the full www.VirtualChinchillas.com website that I have been expanding like crazy. Now that I have learned to write my own PHP scripts I am having a blast building new things over there.
