My name is Rich and I have 9 chinchillas. I've been a member and CnQ for a long time and I was just looking for other forums to visit and hopefully contribute to.

I am in South Carolina. I have 18 chinchillas, 5 dogs, 1 conure and about 8 fish. As you can tell, I love animals!

You will find a lot of good advice, information and friendly people here at the Chinchilla Club!!

Hi Rich, great to see you here, and yes do share.
So what colors, and ages are your chins?
Do you breed?
I have around 30 here most of the time.
I breed and rescue, but I never have the heart to re home. I say they deserve the best for the rest, so they stay with me.

Ok, here goes.

Alexis - black velvet female, 10ish(dob unknown), cagemate with Montana
Montana - gray female, 10ish(dob unknown)
Herald - brown velvet female, 6ish(dob unknown)
Fluffy - white female, 8ish(dob unknown)
Tre' - gray male, 3ish(dob unknown)
Angel - beige female, 10ish(dob unknown), Josie's mom and cagemate
Josie - beige female, coming up on 5(dob 7/6/02)
Kodee - gray male, 8ish(dob unknown)
Zoe - white female, 6-8ish(dob unknown)

I don't breed. I took in some "don't wants" and "don't have time fors". Got Herald and Tre' from a pet store. Bought a couple from people and I was given the rest. Alexis and Montana were my first two back in '98. I've had several pass away over the years, God rest their souls. I also had a rat and guinea pig that have since passed.
