Hi guys.  My name is Chantry and i am from Oklahoma.  I am a Veterinary Assistant and part time dog trainer/petsitter.  I am owned by a Beagle/lab named Snoopy, a Tortie cat named Jynx, and about 27 chinchillas.  I hope to learn more about chinchillas and then start showing within Oklahoma.  I used to show sheep in FFA and miss the show competitions!  Hope to get to know some of you,

Welcome to the Chinchilla Community Forums!  We are so glad to have you here and we are looking forward to getting to know you too.  Chinchillas shows are a lot of fun. Even if you you don't show right away its great to just attend any in your area.  You will learn more in one day about color and quality than you could in months of research!

I take it you breed, so what colors, and what are your favorites.
How old is your oldest chin?
Who's your cutes, slyest, and most cuddly.
And a Beagle/lab, that must be different.

This is Oreo (Black Velvet - M):


This is Snickers (Black Velvet F) and her mate Saber (Violet M):



This is Eclipse (Mosaic F) and her mate Blackie (Dark Ebony M):



We have two other chins without pics for now and we are buying anopther dark ebony for Oreo.  The other chins were all given away so we are now down to just the 8.

Hi Chantry,
     Welcome to this crazy bunch of chinchilla lovers (99% of us love/have other animals, too).
     Your chins are beautiful!  Snickers must be a camera hound ... she poses beautifully. Reminds me of Timmy, one of my black velvets, when it comes to the camera.
     Snoopy looks like a small version on my Great Dane ... black with a smaller amount of white on the chest.
     Jynx looks like he is saying don't you dare flash that light in my eyes!
     Hope you will enjoy the forum as much as I am sure we will enjoy having you here.
