Hmmm...  Throughout my whole life, I have had 7 cats, countless fish (when I was very young, so I don't remember how many, but I went through a lot), 2 dogs, 3 turtles, 2 gerbils, 1 hamster, 2 mice, 2 rats, 2 ball pythons, and (so far) 73 chinchillas, if I count all of the chinnies born here as well as the ones I've purchased.  Interestingly enough, 86 of those 94 animals (not counting the fish) have been a part of my life since leaving my parent's home at 18, which was 10 years ago.   roling on the floor, laughing

Hmmm... in my whole life...

Fish: 15 (give or take) and the aquatic frog.
Turtles: 2 (Gus and Jack)
Cats: 9 (Chocolate, Sam, Dutchess, Pete, Mitz, Ozzy, and the 3 kittens - we had to give them away so I couldn't name them...)
Dogs: 2.5 (General, and I forget the one of their names as it was a long time ago but I remember it was a shiatsu ... and Banditt who was shared between me and my uncle thus the .5 lol)
Rabbits: 2 (Switchblade and Symphony)
Chinchillas: 3 (Dagda, Sorley and Xochitl)

This of course isn't counting the animals I had growing up on a farm... Geese, Ducks, Chickens, Pigs, Rabbits, Turkeys, Cows, Goats... I think that's all we had lol. So excluding food I've had 33.5 animals. I have gotten 5 of them since I moved out on my own. If I had had a non caged animal friendly apt I would also have had 2 more cats (Baby and Snowball - A bangal and a white bangal respectively) when my friend had to move and couldn't keep them. Gorgeous cats but I couldn't have them without getting evicted from my apartment lol
