Chinchilla Grooming Me
« on: July 03, 2013, 08:39:54 PM »

So recently one of my chins has begun to take a huge interest in styling my hair!! I know he's grooming me and that's a good thing but I'm worried he's eating my hair. Should I discourage him doing it since that could be a possibility? (I have been letting him do it so far, but now he is doing it more often and longer) Thanks:)!

Are you noticing any damage to your hair? Honestly I don't know the answer to that. The fibers would have to be long enough to tangle together and ball up inside the gut for there to be a problem and I wouldn't know how to quantify that.

They have chewed off at most 2 inches but I find it on the floor, so hopefully they're not eating it!

Yikes! That sounds like a lot of damage.
