And my chin, Snickerdoodle, does that too, whenever he hears rustling he naturally assumes that we're feeding him :D He likes to stick his nose out of the cage; it's his way of saying "feed me, feed me!!!!" :)

They always try to eat the camera... My iPod case has a couple of chunks missing XD

One thing I learned about taking a picture of a chinchilla inside of the cage is to make sure the autofocus does not select the bars of the cage. They seem to be an autofocus magnet for both my phone and regular digital camera. I was pulling my hair out in frustration until I discovered that because the foreground was always blurry.
