Building a cage

So, I'm planing on building a cage (6x3x3) and I'm new to cage building, so what would be the best type of wood, and does anyone have free cage plans they would like to share, I need ideas/suggestions    :::grins::

Here is a great link to cage plans:  http://www.reocities.com/petsburgh/5102/chincage.html  If you scroll down to the bottom you will find the link to the detailed plan for that cage.

Untreated pine wood is a great choice for the frame of the cage.  If you want a solid back wall Melamine Coated Pressboard is ok.  You just have to be sure the chinchilla can't get to any edges to chew it.
