hi everyone we are new chinchilla owners are boys name is davinport just davin for short he is about 4months old and we got home today there was blood in his cage on the walls and in his hide we looked at him very closely but cant find any sign of a injury, no blood in his fur nothing and he is running around and acting normal where very concerned please help

Hi there,
Did you check the bottoms of his feet?
You might put a clean white towel on your lap and hold him for awhile. That way you can see if he's still bleeding, and the source of the problem if he still is.

there are not any marks  any where on his feet top, bottom, and in between his toes

Well, hmmm.
All you can do is put him under a good light and check him over very closely once again. Usually, you'll find at least a little bit of stained fur to tip you off. Check inside his mouth as well. If you still can't find anything, watch your chin closely over the next week or two.  It's good that his activity level is normal.

I would say it's his feet too. They are famous for over doing the scaling of calluses.You would never notice unless you looked before . They ussually get them right along the edges of the feet and just tear them off.
I had a female do it to me way back when, and I thought the girls here were nuts that all that blood came from her feet.
It must have been 3 months later same thing. I thought she was having a miscarriage. doh!
