Cage re-design??
« on: November 23, 2011, 11:00:35 AM »

Hello My name is Mel.

I am a first Time Chinchilla owner. Looking for a cage was one of the hardest things. EVERYTHING is plastic!!! I ended up buying thing cage to modify it.
Any suggestions on the shelves/platform or ramps

take the plastic shelves out, and put in safe wood ledges..

you can cover the bottom with bedding or fleece. :)

::silly::  Beautiful cage and I like what you did with the shelves!

Are all your chins of the same sex?  Babies could easily get out of that cage.

P.S.  Sorry about fliping the photos, but I have a sore neck and it was hard to see them sideways.   :D
