Hello!

I was hoping to get some advice.  My chinchilla Tubbs seems to be favoring his left front paw.  He is very active and doesn't appear to be in pain, but he doesn't seem to want to put weight on his front paw.  I compared his left paw to his right and it looks the same.  I'm thinking he could have a splinter that i can't see.  Any ideas?  Or anyone gone through a similar experience?

thanks,

is this a new thing or has he always done this? does he not use the hand when he's running around or is he reluctant to use it even then? does he just like to use it for grabbing etc? i quite often see mine stand up with one hand down and i do check that the other one's ok and it usually is but they run on both.

yah, sometimes they just hold them up, and they look like they could be favoring them....

but there is always the possiblity that he hurt it while jumping etc..
