I think meimei is about 3-4 months old
I usually take him for about hour free run time a day

But lately he seems tired after about 30mins and today he litterally almost fell asleep on his side on the tub, usually after he finnishes running he takes naps in his cage

Should I be concerned?

My first question would be "Is it too warm where he has his free play?" I can only let mine out for about 20-30 minutes at a time as they seem to get overheated from all of the excitement of exploring and perhaps a bit tired.

At this time of year, I cannot let them out in the bathroom (the only room I can really chin proof), as the temperatures are close to 100 so they remain in their room with their new air conditioner.

I will be curious to see everyones responses.

Oh, and is your baby at all overweight? I have read that will affect their behaviour for sure.  Sily!

Kits should not have alot of playtime, they are still growing and shouldn't use up all their energy at playtime.  Wheels are not recommended till after around 6 months either.

i'm not sure about kits, but i know with my one male, he's about 850 grams, with this heat, even with the air on, he gets tired quicker and will konk out quicker.

Yes I had a big fat male that had seizures in the summer, he didn't know when to stop. I lost him because of it. If it's too warm mine don't get out. They are quite capable of utilizing the space in there cage for exercise.
He's just a baby. Love
