I have two beautiful chinchillas- the mother is a large violet color, the daughter (now 4 years old) is beige, I have had the mother for 6 years. I am finding that I am not giving them the time they deserve, I have a large- 5'X3.5'X1.5' hand built cage that is very quality and is adaptable to breeding.
