 :flames:  That is unreal!!!   ::tickedoff::

The chinchillas are in regulation transport cages, but you can't see how they are (if they have been) fed and watered.  I don't understand what it is suppose to have been ... a transport place or a distributor?   ???  It seems like more of a distributor that would deliver pets/animals to pet stores, but it just does not make it very clear.

At any rate ... the conditions they were in is deplorable!    >:(

An up date from Chinmail

Quote
most of the chins survived and are in the city aspca. Several rescue groups for each type of animal are looking to place these animals. However at the last moment, yesterday, the jerks who owned the animals appealed the judge's decision that they were unhumanily cared for. So it looks like it will be at least another 2 weeks before the chins can be moved out to various rescue groups and individual people who want to keep them as their own. The chins will be then 'chin railroaded' all over the nation. NJ is getting at least 8 chins. I am getting 4 to foster until I find a forever home for them - once I get them. The whole situation is so fustrating that these people can get away with this treatment of the animal and still appeal, appeal and appeal. The city aspca is looking for donations for feed and other care of these animals . It is costing them a LOT of money to care for these animals

I see 8 of them are going to NJ, I live in jersey so if there is help needed for care of them and such I can be contacted at kimbt622@gmail.com. I know Olivia it's pretty wild this day in age and so sad.

I'm no where near this, just passing the info along from another group.
If I were in the area I would contact the SPCA an offer to foster or adopt, there are so many animals.

I'm afraid they will give them back to the brokers ::tickedoff::

U.S. Global Exotics have lost their appeal!!!
The chins are going to be railroaded across the country to several rescues and foster homes.

This one seems to work for me, the second was for the SPCA in Texas, I'm sure anyone interested can find that one.

OK Both working, Thanks Olivia
