Hi I am Chaz, and I am more use to dogs then Chinchillas, and have a Lurcher called Diesel and a longdog called Honey, anyway I have come on here as I am a novice in the world of Chins, I currently have two that were given to me, who I have named Magic (male) and Misty (female), and Magic is going in to get neutered ASAP, I have no idea how old they are, or if they are related, but I think that the female is pregnant, which is something that I don't want, and last night she gave me a scare, as she was acting funny, and stayed in their nest box, so I stayed up with her until 2am incase she was giving birth, but she wasn't, and then had to get up at 6am, so please be kind for any mistakes that I make with posting  Smiley

 Hi Nice to meet you.

So is the female big and round at the belly? Spending more time on the floor? Sleeping on her side?

I'd do lots of research before I get the male neutered, folks haven't been having the best results. You need a top notch vet for that one.
If the female is pregnant maybe you should concider keeping the kits and splitting up the male & females. If your lucky you could get one of each then Mom and Dad would have a cage mate. Just some food for thought. yes
