::silly::   I've never tried it, but I have never heard anything for or against it ...  ::shrug::  ... but ... if Loanstar Chinchillas has it on their site ... they are usually pretty good about knowing what a chin can or can not have.  I'll check with a couple of breeders I know and see what they say.

like i said as soon as I opened the package they all smelt it and were going nuts for it. I gave them each a tiny peice and they have been begging for more all day.

I have given Cheech kiwi in the past. I used to be able to get a pot of mixed dried fruits for chinchillas with papaya, raisins, kiwi and some other fruits... she would go mad for it and used to steal pieces that were basically half a kiwi dried. I had to chase her around to get it back off her so she wouldn't eat too much. The pet shop stopped getting it in so they haven't had it for a while, but as far as I know it never harmed her. Obviously this isn't a professional opinion.

::silly::   I guess I will have to get some ... I got the thumbs up from the two breeders I ask, and it seems like there are others here that have tried it.  (never seen Debbie wrong)  I wonder if they will go as nuts over it as they do when getting a few nibbles of fresh banana?   :::grins::

My mix had dried strawberry in it. I never gave the chins that because I wasn't sure of it, so my bunny had all that. Does anyone know if dried strawberry is okay?

Yes strawberry is fine as well, most any dried fruit is fine. Over the years I've tried most. I usually buy by the month and change each month.
Been dyeing to try dried blueberries but they are so freaking expensive.

Currents are much like raisins and may have the same laxative effect so I'd used them sparingly.
