Hello from Nebraska
« on: January 30, 2009, 07:02:45 PM »

Hello from Omaha, Nebraska!

My name is Ruby. I fell in love with chins about a year ago when researching about small pets. I researched them  for about 8 months until purchasing a girl, Venus. I would have to wait a bit since she was only a couple days old then. Then I found Chins-n-Quills, which I became an active member on (some of you may recognize me from CnQ) When it went down I started looking for another chin forum, and found this wonderful forum.

I am now owned by two wonderful chins, Venus a homo-ebony and Blitzen, a mosaic. At the end of October I rescued a chinchilla, but I had to put him down due to malocclusion.  I also have two male guinea pigs, Pluto and Zeus.

I love art, soccer, ice skating, and singing among others. I also recently started homeschooling with my three siblings.

I hope to make many friends on this forum!

::silly::   Welcome to the Chinchilla Club Forum & to the Wonderful World of Chinchillas!

You are very lucky to be home schooled.  That gives you extra time and experience with your parents you would not normally have.

PS The bad side is there's no "snow days".   :D
