Just out of curiosity wha do you think of these chins? Show quality or no?

First off Jazzi the beige, ignore the others (:

I can add more pics if needed

Now for ChiChi the white mosaic(once again ignore the others (:

Thanks!

They are all very cute  grin  although I don't think they would do well in a show.  On the beige, the photo from the top view, you can see missing/blown or possible priming fur.

If you want to see show qaulity, there should be a thread under the last Rock Hill, Sc., show with photos.

Your beige, to me, has a nice shaped body.  Could possibly show well with proper grooming and dusting.  Looks pretty blocky.

Your white mosaic seems a little small, but I don't know the age, but it also looks like it might have a nice shaped body.

I would take them to a show to get a professional opinion.  Going to a show is a learning experience no matter what!   grin

Thanks guys! The white mosaic is just over 8 months and I just started him on a supplement if I am correct he is just over 500 grams, so yes, he is pretty small! Is there somewhere that i can see a list of upcoming shows?

To check for shows you can go to www.mutationchinchillas.com and www.empresschinchilla.com

Just look under the show schedules.   Smiley

Show quality means different things to different people.  I definitely don't think your chins would be put off the table, they look to have pretty nice fur and decent color though that may change once under the show lights.  The pics at least have nice color esp. the beige I see so many pics of beige chins that just look gross because the color of the pics is bad or the chin is so off color. They are cute!
