I just got 2 sugar gliders on Sunday. They are so great! They are half sisters and 8 weeks out of pouch (OOP).  Grin
I love watching them play. They've been a lot of fun to watch so far, they are little acrobats.  Cheesy
I'll have to post their pictures in a little while since Photobucket is undergoing maintenance.  Sad

How sweet is that, yes thanks.
I have only seen one here in Newfoundland.
A pet shop had a pair but the female died.
The shop went belly up, so I don't know if the male is still here.
They are some cute.

I was absolutely shocked when I saw a glider in person for the first time. I just couldn't get over how little they are.   Shocked
You just cant get a good size reference from pictures. They are unbelievable! Smiley

How big are they, actually?
You're not the first person I've heard say that about their size.

When they sleep in my hand, they  can literally both fit in one hand, they are less than half the size of a chinchilla. Shocked

I don't have a good size reference picture doh!, but here are the girls playing with a cat feather (weeble) toy and those are baby blocks  behind the girls. They are practically the same size. Its amazing. I will try to get a good size reference picture. soon yes

And here is a picture of 3 joeys in the palm of my friend/breeders hand.

It's a pile of babies! :-[

I'm not really sure about Ct. I don't think their illegal there, you could check out GliderCentral and find out though.

Hey chinchillagrl06,

They are so cute they bring tears to my eyes!  My boyfriend just came in the room and said "you wouldn't think they were so cute if they were flying around the room and s%#@ting everywhere".  Is this true?  Do they do that?  Do you have a room devoted to them?
