Hi there!
I'm new to the board (obviously)

Anyway... just joined cause my little sister has a chinchilla & she wanted to learn a lil more about caring for it...
I googled & came to this site =)

Thats my sisters chin in the avatar.
His names "Chiquito" (spanish for small)

She loves the thing & treats it like a lil baby...
I'm a be honest... I'm scared of the thing...
I have a fear of animals.. llol
I do think its cute tho... sometimes...
I wanna hold it & what not... but I'm too scared of it llol...

Anyway, hi to all & i look forward to getting to know some of you =)

Hi and Welcome!

Please try to get to know your sister's chinchilla.  Once you become used to him, you will want one.  They are wonderful little animals.  I know it can be scarey at first because you aren't an animal person.  Try feeding him a raisin.  "You" will eventually be won over!

Welcome to the forum.

Interact with your sister chin...you will love him. I promise. Start small by maybe just putting you hand in the cage and pet him. Or even giving him a treat like Sweetnessheart suggested.
