last night my hairless gene carrying rat had her first litter . numbering 12 little naked pinkies. half the litter is expected to be hairless . soon as i get a new cam (my other got dropped and broken) I will get some pictures up . If you live in NC and would be interested in adopting a new critter please leave me a message .

I always love to hear about chinnies ... I only have one but he is a handful LOL . STrange thing is I think he knows something is up . When the babies squeek . He goes to the corner of teh cage and perks up and listens .

Congrats on those little critters Smiley I live in central NC (didn't know you lived here too!) but don't need any more animals! LOL. I have a sister who was obsessed with getting a hairless rat at one time but she never ended up getting one for one reason or another. I would love to see pictures so I could show her tho!

I'd love to see pix.  I had rats when I was a kid, and loved them!  They were faun-hooded though, I've never seen a hairless one.

I love the little hairless one with the darker stripe on its back.  But of course, the one with hair and the slash on its head is adorable too!
