  All chinchillas must remain in the exhibition hall at all times.
  After the admission fee is paid it is the owners option to decide which event or combination of events to enter his animals in.
  $5.00 gets your animal into the exhibition hall.
  No limit on number of animals per ranch.

  Silent Auction Rules:
 Owner puts his bottom dollar on any animals he wishes to sell.
 Cards will be kept on the awards or registration table stating the price.
 Anyone interested in buying an animal may then raise this price and identify the bid with their name.
 Then anyone else interested may raise the bid etc...
 A bidder can raise the bid even though he has previously bid on the animal.
 The owner may not raise his original bottom dollar price, and can not bid on his own animals.
 Chinchillas must be priced before the show begins 10.30 am.
 The bidding may begin anytime thereafter and will continue until 30 minutes after the end of the shows,
  at which time bidding will cease. The high bid buys the animal.
 TEN PERCENT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF ALL CHINCHILLAS SOLD REMAIN WITH THE
 HEARTLAND CHINCHILLA GROUP TO HELP FUND FUTURE EVENTS.

  Policy does not allow animals anywhere but the exhibition hall.

 The Field Days will be judged a little differently this year in order to maximize education for everyone.  

Dr. Butler (the judge) and a show attendee drawn at random from the crowd
will place each class of animal where they belong on the table. (i.e. 1st place, 2nd place 3rd place etc...)

Then the rest of the show attendees will vote on Class Champ and Reserve Class Champ out of the 1st place animals.
Show attendees will also vote for Grand Show and Reserve Grand Show out of the Class Champions,
with the judge having the right to overrule the final vote!

This is a fantastic educational opportunity!
Show attendees will be able to view the best animals under show lights and vote for the animals YOU feel are the best.
 
The Heartland Group has changed the rules for our Jr. Breeder Award!
We will recognize the Jr. Breeder with the most points total in both the Standard Show and the Mutation Show.
HEARTLAND JR. BREEDER AWARD Rules:
MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 20 POINTS TO QUALIFY

In addition to a fun educational experience -- we may be in for a  Cuteness Overload   at the Field day!

There will be a  Baby Derby!

Bring those Cutie-pa-tuties with you.
Animals should be 3 to 7 months of age.

The Baby Derby will be held during our lunch break.
Everyone in attendance will get a ballot to vote - even the children.  

The Cutest Baby Wins --- That's it, nothing else matters.  Fun! Fun! Fun - and a Trophy for the winner too!!
