| When deciding if the temperature is OK you must add the room temperature plus the humidity. If those two numbers added together are greater than 150 your chinchilla is in trouble. You can also tell when a chinchilla getting too hot by looking at the blood vessels in the ears. When it is too hot the ears will look bloodshot and the vessels will be enlarged. |
