Not really suitable for chins - they will chew right through the fabric straps usually within a week. Hammocks are great, but get a fleece one from an independent seller who KNOWS chinchillas.

I do not use this brand. I use another type, which my chinchilla occasionally sleeps in, but mostly just rests in it at night. I recommend it for chins who like warm comfy places, but ones who sleep on the floor/shelves won't like it as much.

This came with the new cage i got. I got the multicolor one with rabbit faces etc on it. its very pretty and is a nice decoration but she just jumps in and out of it for a few seconds i thought she would sleep on it but she sleeps on her wheel
