I gave this 2 stars...due to it serves it purpose if the cage isn't inside your home. I gave this to a friend with a rabbit with an outdoor enclosure. But to use this indoors. It is a joke! What a mess...the hay falls all over the place...not really worth the mess. I used it a total of one day and knew...just KNEW that I hated it!

This item worked poorly. It did nothing to keep the hay off the cage floor.

One of my chins jumped right on top of it despite being only inches from the top of the cage. One of his feet got caught in the manger as he was trying to jump off. He'd been trying for several mins before we saw him. We couldn't figure out how his leg was caught and took 5 mins to unhook him. Fortunately, his legs are fine, but I don't use it unless I put it outside the cage...ie I don't use it.

it works...however the hooks and edges can be harmful for chins...i've heard of several who have injured themselves on them.
